CNU – Campionati Nazionali Universitari

I CNU sono una manifestazione di rappresentativa che mette a confronto, nella varie discipline sportive, i migliori atleti iscritti agli atenei nazionali, attraverso i rispettivi CUS.
In pratica tutti gli studenti che praticano attività agonistica di livello possono rappresentare l’Università di Bergamo in questo sentito confronto con le altre sedi.

  • I CNU invernali, per lo sci, si tengono ogni anno tra febbraio e marzo.
  • I CNU primaverili, per gli altri sport, si svolgono a giugno (atletica leggera, canoa, canottaggio, golf, judo, karate, lotta, pugilato, scherma, taekwondo, tennis, tennis tavolo, tiro a segno, tiro a volo, vela, windsurf e fasi finali di calcio, calcio a cinque, pallacanestro, pallavolo, rugby a sette – per gli sport a squadra soltanto 8 CUS accedono alle fasi finali attraverso turni di qualificazione nei mesi precedenti).

CNU - National University Campionships

The CNU are flagship events that bring together the best athletes enrolled at national universities, through their respective CUS (University Sports Centers), to compete in various sports disciplines.
Virtually all students involved in competitive sports can represent the University of Bergamo in this highly valued competition against other universities

  • The winter CNU, dedicated to skiing, are held every year between February and March.
  • The spring CNU, covering other sports, are held between late May and early June. These includes athletics, canoeing, rowing, judo, karate, wrestling, fencing, taekwondo, tennis, table tennis, clay pigeon shooting, triathlon, and the final rounds of football, five-a-side football, basketball, volleyball, and seven-a-side rugby. For team sports, only eight CUS advance to the final rounds through qualifying rounds in the previous months.

Rimborso delle quote d’iscrizione all’Università per chi vince una medaglia ai CNU

Nell’ambito del Top Ten Student Program dell’Università degli Studi di Bergamo – programma di esenzione per merito dal pagamento delle quote d’iscrizione all’Università – è previsto anche il merito sportivo.
Riceveranno infatti l’integrale rimborso del contributo omnicomprensivo versato (escluse tassa regionale per il diritto allo studio e marca da bollo) gli studenti regolarmente iscritti a UniBg e al CUS che vincano una medaglia d’oro ai Campionati Nazionali Universitari (50% le medaglie d’argento e 25% le medaglie di bronzo) oppure che salgano sul podio alle Universiadi o ai Campionati Mondiali Universitari. Rewarded by the University with a refund of their registration fees

Students who win medals at CNU are rewarded by the University with a refund of their registration fees. Specifically, winning a gold medal at the National University Championships entails a full refund of the all-inclusive tuition fee paid (excluding the regional study right tax and stamp duty). A silver medal at the CNU is awarded a 50% refund, and a bronze medal is awarded a 25% refund. Any podium finish at the European or World University Championships also receives a full refund.

DOPPIA CARRIERA PER STUDENTI ATLETI

L’Università degli studi di Bergamo ha approvato uno specifico programma Dual Career, per consentire agli studenti atleti di livello di conciliare la carriera sportiva con lo studio universitario, attraverso specifici interventi, tra cui: 

  • possibilità di immatricolazione in regime di tempo parziale, con un contributo onnicomprensivo ridotto e con attività e crediti didattici ripartiti in periodi più lunghi, pur rimanendo in corso;
  • tutorato amministrativo e per l’accesso ai servizi, tirocini e stage;
  • servizio di supporto (non didattico) alla preparazione degli esami (informazioni sui programmi d’esame, testi e dispense, assistenza in caso di problematiche sulla data d’esame per impegni sportivi, ecc.);
  • possibilità di sospensione temporanea degli studi per un anno per importanti impegni sportivi;
  • libero accesso agli impianti sportivi universitari. 

Il programma si rivolge a tutti i nuovi immatricolati, ai già iscritti e a chi intenda riprendere gli studi universitari: l’ammissione avviene mediante valutazione del curriculum sportivo.

DUAL CAREER FOR STUDENT ATHLETES

The University of Bergamo has established a specific Dual Career program to enable high-level student athletes to balance their athletic careers with their university studies through specific measures, including:

  • Part-time enrollment, with a reduced all-inclusive tuition fee and activities and credits spread over longer periods, while still being current;
  • Administrative tutoring and access to services, internships, and placements;
  • Support service (non-educational) for exam preparation (information on exam syllabuses, textbooks, and handouts, assistance with exam scheduling conflicts due to athletic commitments, etc.);
  • Possibility of temporarily suspending studies for one year for major athletic commitments;
  • Free access to university sports facilities.

The program is open to all newly enrolled students, current students, and those intending to resume their university studies. Admission is based on an evaluation of their athletic resume.
